These terms and conditions apply to the WalnutFlow app ("Application") for mobile devices that was created by Education "WalnutFlow", Inhaberin Sofia Hoyos ("Service Provider") as a Commercial service.
Upon downloading or utilizing the Application, you are automatically agreeing to the following terms. It is strongly advised that you thoroughly read and understand these terms prior to using the Application.
Unauthorized copying, modification of the Application, any part of the Application, or our trademarks is strictly prohibited. Any attempts to extract the source code of the Application, translate it into other languages, or create derivative versions are not permitted. All trademarks, copyrights, database rights, and other intellectual property rights related to the Application remain the property of the Service Provider.
The Service Provider is dedicated to ensuring that the Application is as beneficial and efficient as possible. As such, they reserve the right to modify the Application or charge for their services at any time and for any reason. Any charges will be clearly communicated to you.
The Application stores and processes personal data that you have provided in order to provide the Service. It is your responsibility to maintain the security of your phone and access to the Application. The Service Provider strongly advises against jailbreaking or rooting your phone, which could expose your phone to malware, compromise security features, and cause the Application to malfunction.
The Application utilizes third-party services with their own Terms and Conditions, including: Google Play Services, AdMob, Google Analytics for Firebase, Firebase Crashlytics, RevenueCat.
Every user is fully responsible for the content they upload or create within the Application. By uploading or using any content, the user confirms they have the legal rights to manage, store, and utilize such content. Users are solely responsible for ensuring their content complies with applicable law, including EU and German copyright law (UrhG).
The Application stores data using Google Firebase infrastructure, hosted in both the United States (us-central) and Europe (europe-west) regions. Files uploaded by users, such as PDF documents, are stored in Firebase Storage and accessible via a unique, randomly generated link. While these links are not displayed within the Application and are not guessable, users should be aware that if such a link is shared with a third party, the file may become accessible to that party. Users are solely responsible for keeping their file links confidential.
WalnutFlow offers mini-courses created by independent instructors, who explicitly accept these Terms upon registration, confirming they hold all legal rights to the content they publish. The Application offers paid subscription plans and a virtual coin system for accessing certain features. Subscription prices are clearly displayed before purchase. All payments are processed through RevenueCat and the respective app store. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. To cancel, manage your subscription through your app store account settings. The Service Provider does not offer refunds for unused subscription periods or virtual coins except where required by applicable law.
As a data subject under GDPR, you have the right of access to your personal data, right to rectification, right to erasure ("right to be forgotten"), right to restriction of processing, right to data portability, and right to object to processing. Requests can be submitted at any time using the contact details below.
The Service Provider does not assume responsibility for internet connectivity issues, data charges incurred while using the app (including roaming), or device battery/charging responsibility. The Service Provider relies on third parties for certain information and accepts no liability for loss resulting from reliance on such functionality.
The Application incorporates Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to provide certain features. By using the Application, you acknowledge and agree that AI may be used to process data and deliver functionalities, in compliance with applicable laws.
The Service Provider may update the application periodically, and you agree to accept updates when offered. The Service Provider may also cease providing the application and terminate its use at any time without notice; upon termination you must cease using the application and delete it from your device.
The Service Provider may periodically update these Terms and Conditions and will notify you by posting the new version on this page.
